April '17 Student of the Month

We'd like to congratulate our student of the month for April, Joshua! He's currently a 6th grader at Trinity Christian School in Carbondale, Illinois. Joshua's love of music began at age four when he started playing piano. A few years later, he was given the opportunity to accompany violinists at recitals, which led to his desire to learn violin himself. He has played violin for almost four years, since June 2013, and is currently a first violinist in the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the assistant concertmaster of the Southern Illinois Civic Orchestra.
