December '17 Student of the Month

It's December, and the holidays are here! We'd like to congratulate our student of the month, Maddie!

Maddie is a sophomore at St. Mary High School. She has played the cello for five years and originally started in the sixth grade under the teaching of Patty Story. She has studied with Bob Story for two years. Maddie likes the pieces she has been playing recently, particularly the Vivaldi Sonata in e minor. She also enjoys playing contemporary movie music. Recently, she tried out for the All State orchestras and is working on her audition music for the Governor's School for the Arts. She plans to continue playing the cello after she graduates high school. In addition to music, Maddie enjoys creative writing and doing crafts.
