May is here, and it's almost time for school to be over! We would like to congratulate the Senior Class of 2018! This month, we feature Landann, a seventeen year old senior at Graves County High School. Landann has been playing cello for about sixteen months and studies with Brittney Washam. April is finally here and we are all ready for SPRING! Symphony Supply is proud to introduce our student of the month, Ellie! Ellie is 9 years old and is in the 3rd grade at South Marshall Elementary School. She has been playing the violin for 3 years now and studies under Mr. Clay Campbell. Her favorite piece is "Ashokan Farewell" From the Soundtrack of the PBS Series "The Civil War" a film by Ken Burns. We’re happy to announce our March student of the month, Henry! Henry is a first grader at St. Mary Elementary School. He has played the violin since August and takes lessons from Brittney Washam. Henry decided he wanted to learn the violin because his uncle plays it - and because it sounds cool! He loves to play music from movies, especially Star Wars. In addition to music, Henry also plays tennis and loves to read and play video games.Congratulations, Henry! Keep up the amazing work!

The new year has gotten off to a great start! It's February, and we'd like to congratulate our student of the month, Sara! Sara is in the 8th grade at Community Christian Academy. She started playing the viola in 6th grade under the teaching of Ashley Darnell and is currently studying with Brittney Washam. Sara enjoys playing a wide variety of genres and styles, and she especially likes to play in ensembles. Last summer, she was first chair in her group at the Paducah Symphony Orchestra summer camp, and she sat 2nd chair at Murray State University's Quad State Orchestra...

The new year is here, and we are excited to announce our student of the month for January! Blaise is a 6th grader at Paducah Middle School and has been playing violin or "fiddle" since he was in Kindergarten. He started out learning the Suzuki method with Amy Blewett at Blewett Music Studio and Piano Tuning, and then transitioned to Josh Coffey with Time On The String.
