It's December, and the holidays are here! We'd like to congratulate our student of the month, Maddie! Maddie is a sophomore at St. Mary High School. She has played the cello for five years and originally started in the sixth grade under the teaching of Patty Story. She has studied with Bob Story for two years. Maddie likes the pieces she has been playing recently, particularly the Vivaldi Sonata in e minor. She also enjoys playing contemporary movie music. November '17 Student of the Month

October is finally here and the weather is getting cooler! We are so thrilled to introduce our student of the month, Madisyn! Madisyn is a 7th grader at South Marshall Middle. She has been playing violin for three years and is a student of Clay Campbell. She has competed in both the Tennessee Fiddlers Competition as well as the Clarksville Fiddlers Competition. Last year she played at the ROMP bluegrass festival and even took a lesson from Craig Duncan, a member of the North American Fiddler’s Hall of Fame! Congratulations, Madisyn!

Returning Instruments

Do we return the instrument rental for the summer? Not if you want to continue in orchestra the next year. If you return the instrument, all the equity that has been put towards it will be lost. Ask your music teacher about summer programs and private lessons! Rent is charged as long as you have the instrument, whether you use it or not. How do we return the instrument? May '17 Student of the Month

It's the first day of May, and we'd like to congratulate our student of the month, Eli! Eli is five years old and attends Immanuel Preschool. He has been learning the viola for about a year and a half from Amy Blewett. Eli was first inspired to play because of his big brother. He has also been learning piano for a year from his mother. In addition to music, he loves baseball and playing games like Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog on his Wii-U. Congratulations, Eli! Keep up the great work!
